Why i do this
RV safety is very import to me. As someone who has worked with my hands all my life, I feel that I need to do what I can to help people have their RV's working properly and free of safety concerns. Gas and water leaks can be dangers if not checked at least once a year. My granddaughter was a victim of a gas leak because someone without proper training, left a gas line uncapped that led to her fifth wheel trailer to explode. Propane gas was leaking when she lit her stove to make breakfast. She was lucky and survived with burns to her hands .
My training
I started my training to be an RV inspector. The training was done trough The RV Technical Institute in Elkhart, Indiana. This is the technical institute developed by the RV manufacturer to train and certify the inspectors and technicians that work for the dealership and mobile technicians to the RVIA standards. I achieved my Level 1 RV technician "Inspector" certification. I continued with the training. I achieved my Level 2 RV technician "RV Repair" certification. I am currently working on my Level 3 training with Lippert Technical Institute.

The way that RV's are manufactured today and the over 1000 miles of travel from the manufacturer. Most new RV's have a great deal of issues that are not addressed by the dealership.
